Rabies Vaccination
Pre-exposure rabies vaccination course essential for travelers visiting rural areas or working with animals.
About This Service
Rabies is a fatal viral disease transmitted through the bite or scratch of an infected animal. While rare, it's 100% fatal once symptoms appear, making prevention crucial. The pre-exposure vaccination course provides excellent protection and simplifies treatment if you're potentially exposed to the virus.
This vaccine is particularly important if you're traveling to rural areas, working with animals, or planning adventure activities like cycling, running, or caving. The course consists of three doses given over 21 days (standard) or 7 days (accelerated schedule if needed). Even with vaccination, you must seek medical attention immediately after any animal bite or scratch.
